Airport madness

Okay. I made it to the Newark airport. Deep breath. After circling the place maybe 3 and a half times in the car with my parents, we finally found the right terminal and all that… But man is this airport confusing! I’m having so many mixed feelings right now that I can even describe them all. There are constant butterflies in my stomach. I think it’s a mixture of excitement, nerves, anticipation, anxiety, and happiness. And a little sad from saying bye to my parents (love you guys!!). I’m super excited to be posting this from my phone too since I downloaded the WordPress app today wooo. So this is it. Here I go. Barely a clue what to expect but I’m ready for this adventure. I’ll miss all you American folks a lot. Keep in touch with me please ๐Ÿ™‚ look out for a post when I’m landed safely at Heathrow airport in London (and I’m not thinking about the fact that I’m flying on 9/11… I’m fine!). Plus the people on my flight look extremely normal; maybe I’ll even make a friend since there are a few kids my age probably in my same situation. More to come soon! Bye America!
